Congratulations to Libby in Willow Class who has been elected the new Colgate Primary School Prime Minister. Her party, The Independent Party was voted in following weeks of preparation, canvasing and speeches across the school. On Thursday 21st May the whole school had to visit the voting booth to vote for their favourite party and then place their voting slips in the special election voting box. The final number of votes were recorded and verified by the voting adjudicator Mrs West and announced in assembly.
Her party have promised to work with the Headteacher to discuss playtimes and equipment in the school. She will also be given special roles within our centinary celebrations.
